1 Praise the LORD!I will thank the LORD with all my heart as I meet with his godly people.
2 How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in him should ponder them.
3 Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.
4 He causes us to remember his wonderful works.
"We human creatures seem to be born to wonder, to love, and to praise. We are born for other things as well, of course. We work, we speak, we create, and we make and keep covenants together. All these things are found in all human communities we know about, and they take central place in our lives as well. But wonder, love, and praise seem different somehow. They are expressions of our deepest being and deepest longing. No matter what happens to us or what we achieve, they point us to something greater, something better that surrounds our lives and makes us glad." Thomas D. Parker
What is it that makes you stop in amazement? A child's smile? A beautiful piece of art? The mountain view or the ocean's endless waves? The things in our life that make us stop and stare in amazement are the things God has placed in this world to remind us of His love for us. May we stop today and literally smell the flowers...for it brings God joy and reminds us that we are loved.
