Thanks to everyone who came out this past Wednesday evening. We got all the border taken down, the rest of the carpet ripped up, began texturing the ceilings, and a general cleaning that was much needed. We are getting close to painting in the next couple of weeks. We will be announcing a Saturday work day very soon. More pictures are on the Flickr site.

We will be meeting again next Wednesday evening beginning at 5:30. You are welcome to come eat, pray with us, and stay to work if you are able!

2nd Wednesday Night @ Andover

We will again be meeting tomorrow night at the Andover Campus for  a meal (5:30/$5 per person), devotion and prayer  (6:00), and then tackle a reasonable work project (6:30-8:00).  Everyone is invited, please let Todd Nelson know if you are coming for dinner (todd@1stumc.org).

Work Night #1 at Andover

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped out!  We had twenty come out to share a meal and a time of devotion.  We then worked until about 8:00 removing carpet, cleaning closets and preparing the building for renovation.  We have posted more pictures for your viewing pleasure on the Flickr page. 

If you missed this week, don't forget that you will have another opportunity next Wednesday and the following Wednesdays through August. We will meet at 5:30 for dinner ($5 per person) and then have a time of devotion and prayer. Around 6:30 we will begin on a "manageable" project and be wrapped up by 8:00.  Everyone is welcome to come to all or part of the night depending on your schedule.  Please RSVP if you are coming for dinner to Todd Nelson (todd@1stumc.org.)

Things are moving forward. October 7th will be here before you know it. Be sure to save the following dates: Saturday, September 8th to attend a Prayer Event with speaker and author Terry Teykl. On Sunday, September 9th at 5:00pm we will have our first "preview" worship service.

Please remember that we will begin meeting on WEDNESDAY nights at the Andover campus for a meal, devotion, and equipping time at 5:30-7:00.  At 7:00, for those who are able, we will tackle some work projects that will last about an hour.
